Hello. Try and structure your posts a little better, there's something a bit annoying about the way it is now. Anyways, I like your cause - it's admirable that you are making maps just for your friends and stuff :) To import skins you need to use the Import Manager. Use it to import the skin file into your map. Now double-click the file you imported and in the box that pops up tick "Use Custom Path". Now, in this box you need to type the path of the skin file you are overriding. This may have been included with the download, whether it be in a txt file or one the web page. If not, then you need to use an MPQ editor (available from the Resources>Tools section of this very website) to find out the path of file. It's just a case of typing it in the box, saving, and then restarting WE (you won't see any changes until you restart the application). |

However you will probably need something a bit more advanced. Apart from PSP you may want to try GIMP or Paint .NET. |

Yes, MSPaint CAN be used to create skins BUT you definatly shouldn't. Really. Not a good idea. If you find importing skins/models hard in the beginning, don't worry it's confusing for everyone. It's easy as hell once you get used to it. |

sure! just hit F12! try to experiment a bit more on your own before asking though, as you could have answered these questions for your own... |

You can use MPQ editors and put the stuff in and edit SLK's and put them in too for custom stuff and... In the end, get TFT. It's not worth doing anything in RoC. |
