WC3 Sprites/skin

Hello All

I downloaded some cool sprites/skins from this site and i did them in my WC 3 map but when i start world editor and i choose an unit then and then i want to change his skin but it doesn't change you only see a stupid green square

please someone help me !!!
i want to see the skin/sprite not the square

After importing an skin save the map immediately then close world editor and open it again, but this time make sure the first map you open is the one you imported the skins to, also, make sure the paths are correct.

Is that really necessary? I mean, can't you just save the map instead of closing it as well or is that just with models?

Would he suggest it otherwise?

There's is one other way to refresh textures - go into your WE options and change the texture quality, that tends to do the trick.

hehe thats the problem it doesn't load the skin it say: coudn't load file sephiroth.mdl!!

so the only thing i see is the sqaure, and i tryd to save the game and open it again but it doesn't work i dont realy understand it i'm confused right now but any way thanks for the help but if you got an other idea please reply :D

*.mdl is a model. i guess you have not enterd the right path for the skin, so the editor cant find a skin file and says "cant load...bla wtf" or maybe your skin file is damaged.

There are tutorials on the subject of imports, Othman_4_life, take a look around for them instead of dredging up ancient posts next time. :)
