I cant figure out wa to do!

Im making a map called live fast die young where you can pick your car and your own turret and then kill the other units. The problem is I dont know how to put a turret on a car that will attack other guys. Can some1 please help me pls. Also you will get your name in my credits.

As far as physically mounting a turret to a car you could try 'attatching' a special effect (the turret) to the 'overhead' point on the car.

For making it shoot you could give the car the 'phoenix' ability and it will attack oter units automatically.

The special effect ideal is good but wouldnt phoneix have a mind of its own and leave the heros side?

No, the phoenix ability that he's referring to is actually a passive ability that attacks nearby enemies. You don't get to control it though.

If you want the turret to be rotate-able and usable, you will need custom abilities, decent triggers, and a dummy unit with locust that is constantly moved to the car's location and turned to match the firing angle.

Im to stupid for that. And one more problem, every time i my guy shoots with the phoenix abilty he sets them on fire when it isnt eveing supose to do tht. Then he wont shoot until the flame is out. What should i do?

Edit the ability to have 0 damage over time and 0.00 or 0.01 duration.

Look at the ability man, seriously. It can't be TOO hard. If a 13 year old can figure it out, you can too (unless you're an idiot and less than what-not).
