Apocolypse is a Survival map with many custom models and skins imported, strong trigger work, and good terrain. You may have heard of Apocolypse if you visit WC3Campaigns.net often, but if you haven't, here is some information about it. Features:
And much, much, more!... Brief Story-Line: A dangerous plague has been unleashed upon the Earth and has destroyed everything in it's path. This plague from Hell has directly targeted a small city and strives to turn it to rubble. With life it self and the Human Race with it at the brink of extinction, a group of marines from the future have been dispatched to enter this city in this time of havok to fend off the forces of evil before they reign over the planet with pure cruelty and torture. Their motives are unclear to you and the world, but your motives are to kill for your own survival... and to save the planet and the Human Race from complete extinction. I hope it will bring something new to the genre. The gravity gun sounds good...but how are you going to make it? Players will be able to grab things and throw them on enemies? |

Yes. For example, you can lift barrels and boxes and launch them at anything you want. And since the physics are pretty well triggered, if you launch an object at a hill or something, it will bounce and ricochet, which can be used to your own advantage if firing in a tight spot. Grenades also roll and bounce too. |

Nice. When will be some testing version available? I want to see it in action... And what is tha map file size? 20MB? |

I recommend you read the FAQ page on the website. http://www.freewebs.com/wc3apocolypse/faq.htm BETA Testing is not an option just yet. The map still needs alot more triggers and I must finish the terrain as well. Filesize is 3.16mb, and the map is meant for Bnet use only, recommending atleast 4-12 people per game. I'm guessing the project will be out probably in two months. I think the project needs another JASSer though, since we recently lost one. |

Sick screenshots, are those really from the map? It looks like it's not a wc3 map at all. |

Please, Apocalypse. Looks cool though, I'll give it a try when it's up and playable. |

apocolypto.. lololol The screenies are very nice. But the size of the map has to be considerably low too. Consider using MDXSquisher and resizing blps and textures by converting to tga with WC3Viewer then converting back to blp and choose to compress at a very low rate. You can safely compress a blp by up to 30% without losing quality. |

The map size now is 3.16mb. But after we squish all models, probably bring it to 3mb maybe less if we're lucky. |

You filled every screenshot with the same word, 3 times, mis-spelt. Nice. |

Post rather some in-game screenshots. Btw, there are almost only realistic weapons on the picture, are you sure gravity gun will fit there? |

yeah, all those guns are only about 300kb lolz [edit] nevermind, highlighted wrong models folder lol, it's 1.45mb |
