I am making a map with models(dh), but was wondering how you chance the transparency of a unit.

Trigger:
Unit - Set YOUR UNIT's vertex color to 100%, 100%, 100%, with 100%, transparency
The first 3 100%s are for colors (R, G, B), and the last one controls the transparency. 100% = invisible, 0% = fully visible.

go to materials, click on the geoset of the material u want to edit, on alpha which is transperncy, change it until u like it. hope this helps.
