Hi all, I was planning on doing a nice project about the instances om WoW, but in WC3. Why, because it is not easy, when you do not play WoW alot, and then again, the instances require you to be in a guild so you can play with 20 or 40 ppl at the same time. I was planning on doing a the first one about Zul'Gurub, but I do need some skilled ppl. I'm looking for a mapper and a coder I geuss. Maybe some guys that have experienced the Instance Of Zul'Gurub already ? I'll be making the models, but if anyone wants to help, no prob... |

Since Zul'Gurub is a 20+ instance I thought I put 20 characters at the entrance for the player to use. Give them all lvl 10 ( or the max level ) without selecting the skills, so the player can choose this before he starts. When a character dies, respawn it back to the entrance. I'll post some images about the models I already did later |

So you're basically wanting us do do a map entirely for you. And ZG is not 20+, lol, it's more like 45+. |

ZG is a 20 man instance for level 60 players. Level 10 heroes do not equate to level 60 heroes. A level 60 Wow hero has anything up to 30 different abilities. A warcraft 3 hero has 3 abilities and a very powerful ultimate. You're going to have to do some huge changes to either war3 or the way wow raids work for this to be anything good. |

kinda sounds like molten core map, and to be honest... the only good thing about that map was that you could use the models in it... |

The lvl 10 was just a example ofcourse, but, if it is balanced correctly, it is possible to have lvl 10 heroes if the mobs are balanced alike. So anyone interested.. or was this my last message in this thread ![]() |

But yeah, if you give them spellboox abilities it might work, but I doubt it. Oh well. |

Another thing, B.net players = brainless cretins. Successful WOW guilds are filled with people who can: Communicate Understand and follow orders/strategy Play their character well Co-ordinate with other players Adapt to changes/contingencies in strategy War3 games comprise of: 9/10 people picking an agility-based melee hero A 5 word vocabulary Players who leave when their hero dies (despite the fact they can probably revive without any loss) |

You need more info. You have only the most tenuous outline there. You also cannot decently recreate WoW in WC3. Just cannot be done. |

Ok,just to make it clear, it is not the idea to recreate wow in wc3. I just would like to play, by myself, having like 20 units to control, to beat the instance of Zul'Gurub in a WC3 setting, not having all the quests to do or whatever. Just beating the crap out of the champs and Hakkar in a WC3 way :) |

We do not support WoW rips, or any other sorts of rips. Post that sort of thing again and I'll close this thread. Further action may be taken if needed. |

That is lame, whatever, I'll take my business elsewhere |

Thread closed then. |
