My cinematic is 15 mins long and its to big! How do i cut them half or something to make 2 maps that are like 7 mins each? |

copy the map and make the first one have half the triggers, and the second one the other half of triggers |

What do you mean? Anyways, why would it matter? It doesn't matter too much about the length unless you need it for a contest or something. ![]() |

@ Purge - Or if it's a matter of upload size... @ d_man - You need to add the starting triggers to the second one at the beginning too, like "Turn on Cinematic mode" and stuff. Also don't forget the map initialization event. |

OK the thing works i mean i can test it and it works perfectly but when i try to use it to put in cinematic archive it says can download and when i go on battle net and i make game it says file size to big. This has happened to all of my maps I have made except one. I mean i just tried to test this map wit others online and it said map file size to big. O ya for my new map file size it isnt the big its smaller then a dota map and there is only like 15 downloaded model files. |

Filesize has to be below 4MB. If it isn't, too bad. |

I don't know why you're hosting it on bnet anyway if it's a cinematic... But yeah, 4MB limit for bnet. That's why single-player maps are better because there's no file size limit whatsoever*! ![]() *Maximum size depends on where you host the map. For Hive I think it's unlimited, but for wc3c it's something tiny like 5MB. http://war3.incgamers.com says it has a 10MB limit, but if the map is good enough they let it go over. |
