What tools and such does one require if one wish to make campaigns for WC3? Where can one find campaigns for download that are of the same quality of the ones that were made for SC? And lastly what should one be thinking of when making a campaign for WC3?(what does one need?) |

1: The World Editor 2: I only know a few finished ones, like Natures Call by Darky 3: Experiance with the world editor. WE has pretty much everything you need. (custom models / textures / ext need additional knoledge and tools. check the tutorial section.) |

This might be a dumb thing to say but it seems to me that the WC3 campaign community ain't as good as the SC campaign community or am I wrong? |

Warboards, StarCraft.org, and all those have been around for a long time, and since StarCraft is old, not many people get it (as much as before), and since WC3 is more recent, that's why you have more experienced people, and a place like WC3Campaigns has less experienced people. Have you seen some of the guys who work here? That's skill, and probably years (less than a year, who the hell cares) of experience. They know what they're doing, and some of them have jobs in fields of programming real things, professionally and paid (I bet, and not just triggers or things like that). - On-topic now. 1: You have almost everything you need. Some of the WE is shit, but still very good (such as the GUI. You should start there for triggering, if you don't have much experience in programming and triggering). There's even an AI editor built-in. 2: Here, and some other places. I sincerely find that more people drop out on WC3 projects than StarCraft ones, most likely because of too much confidence, noobishness, and sheer power of the WE. 3: Already answered. You have everything you need. From what I can see, you're one big cocky starter in the WE, and that's why you're gonna fail, unless someone can dig that dogshit about starting a campaign with no experience out. I've already had the head-strong cleared out. - There. My once-in-a-while rant is finished and I've answered you. YAYZ! |

I was just looking to see if there were any thrid party programs I could use but I guess not. When it comes to WC3 for finished product I see alot of cinematics, then actual campaigns thats why I can hardly wait for the release of Heart of Storms by Rommel. |
