Apparantly 3DS Max has suddenly started making Float Animation Controllers, which the Art Tools can't handle. Halp with making it stop would be nice.

If you still need help for this:

Go to change the controllers for one of the bones to TCB for all three (position, rotation, scaling) and check the box saying set as default.

Any new meshes or bones you create from now on will be TCB automatically which will never cause float key problems.

Where do i find the option to change the controllers for the bones to TCB? I've been hunting around Dope Sheet and such, but i havn't found anything and a few hours scanning through the help files has brought me up cold.

Stupid program.

Hmm, I'm sure there's a script that does all that in one click.

*Looks*

Go to the tab on the right that has a wheel on it, then open the Assign Controller dropdown. Select one of the three, click the question mark button, and choose TCB.

Ah.
Didn't work.

Oh, i tell a lie, it did work. It says there's still float controllers, but they animate anyway...

THIS MAKES SENSE.
