Hi. I've been away from map making for quite a bit, and I was wondering where the best place to learn about JASS as a total newbie would be.

So uh... Where would that be?

EDIT: Woops, meant JASS.

Do you mean JASC as in "Jasc Paint Shop Pro" or did you mean to type "JASS"?

Sorry, I meant JASS.

In that case, I shall move this thread to the proper forum and link you the JASS tutorials section: JASS/AI Scripts Tutorials

I personally find Vexorian's Introduction to JASS and Triggers in JASS triggers to be the most informative.

Alright, thanks. Those should work nicely. Sorry about posting in the wrong forum, and thanks for not newb-stabbing me for doing so.

I learned from converting simple GUI-triggers to custom text and then viewing that, you could try that too. Also, download JassCraft or similar if you haven't :)

I find jasscraft old and outdated compared to newer solutions like Jass New Gen (good thing to get if you wanna get in to jass), and that in-trigger editor syntax highligter (check the editing tools forum).

As for tutorials and such, check my signature. Pyrogasm has no life

I do not have a life. Nor do I own a PC, and I get along fine without JASSCraft :)
