An attempt at terrain of a frozen village, didn't go to well in my opinion. Just ignore the fact that the plants are in full bloom & green, couldn't find any dead looking plants. And also, just imagine the buildings as being amazing until I can actually download Born's doodad pack. ![]() |

You can change the plant doodads' tinting values to make them look "dead". On another note, the plants are way to large to fit in with the rest of the scene, the blank patches of snow next to the houses look funky, and it's really asking for some sort of hill/mountain in the background. |

Oh, didn't think of the plant size, but I see what you mean, the plants are half as large as the buildings. And the hill would be added in the background for a slower change into sky? |

I just think that there needs to be something there to negate the gigantic light-blue area that dominates the background. Possibly with trees on it. Additionally, next time you upload a screenshot, click on it, copy the url, and paste it inbetween [img] tags. |

The plants down the middle (shrubs) don't look good with the scenery for their color and the way they stick out of the ice instead of the dirt. Dark ice has bad seaming and generally doesn't look good unless various camera angles are applied--try changing the tex? |

Try setting the RGB-Values of those plants from 255 to somewhere around 100 or below to make them look more dead. But, apart from that, they are standing around there in a straight line, which doesn't look so natural imo. And i think the ground inside the village is too flat at all. Apart from that few things, it doesn't look bad at all! ![]() |
