Have you tried holding down shift when you open the field?

theres an option (under file > preferences or something), "allow negative values in the object editor".

Also, shfit+click in the object editor.

It doesn't work in the Mac World Editor, and I'm pretty sure it only normally works on integer values. Notice how the option you changed was "...negative real values...".

It works on everything. Almost any field that can be edited as raw data works with it. You can use it, for example, on the ability fields and add abilities by typing in their raw codes directly. This is, if we are talking about the shift key opening. Always use shift, don't trust the negative value option.

I don't mean to be rude or a spammer, but have you tried? My shift-click on integers does... nothing...
