Getting a percantile of a number

I should know how to do this, it's basic math... but it escapes me. How exactly would I get a percent of a number; eg: Setting a local real to an amount = 75% of the unit's Max Health.

If I remember correctly, don't you multiply the number by a decimal, in this case .75?

You haven't been drinking lately, have you?

No, but I've been sick with some retarded form of the common cold, and my cold medicine did nothing but screw me up more. So to an essence, you could say I've been drinking, but considering im 7 years below legal age, that's not a smart idea for someone like me.
