Yes, I am aware this has been brought up before, and there are tutorials, but I am still confused as they all address those who have not actually made the picture, and I'd rather not have to convert something. From what i've gathered, a loading screen should be... Format .blp Size 512 x 512 Text Box ? Quality About 80% or less or.. Format .tga Size 600 x 800 And then must be converted to the stats above. Which one is correct? And would anyone happen to have what size the text area needs to be to cover all the text? And a Preview must be in Format TGA, size 256 x 256? |

And yes, a loading screen that uses the custom one-texture-only loadscreen model needs a single 512*512 texture (I guess it could also be smaller, but 512 is blurry enough). For the minimap preview, it's either 256*256 or 128*128, the later being more filesize-friendly and less eye-friendly. |

as a side note, WC3 likes to crash on me with anything other then a 256 / 256 in-game minimap. |

I do hope for the war3mapPreview.tga, you do know it's meant to be 24 bits... |
