Preventing TKing

Is there a built in option inside the game that prevents you from TKing your ally?

Or do I need to trigger it?

Trigger it.

You can catch the order, or wait untill the unit attacks unit event to fire, then stop the unit.

Yep.

Should look something like this:

Trigger:
Prevent TK
Collapse Events
Unit - A unit Is issued an order targeting an object
Collapse Conditions
((Owner of (Triggering unit)) is an enemy of (Owner of (Target unit of issued order))) Equal to False
Collapse Actions
Unit - Order (Triggering unit) to Move To (Position of (Triggering unit))
Game - Display to (All allies of (Owner of (Triggering unit))) the text: ((Name of (Triggering player)) + tried to kill someone in the team !!!!1111)

Under "Attack - Targets Allowed", couldn't you just slip in "enemy" and "neutral" somewhere?

No, doesnt work.

You could however make all your allies of a certain kind and make them unable to attack that kind.

Do you mean classification? It doesn't work too. It seems the best way is order catching like Histenchist said.
