Non-Hero with Top Left icon

Is it possible to make a non-hero unit with it's icon in the top left like a hero?

I don't think so the only thing u can do is put a unit the clasification of worker so when it stands still the icon apears down above the map

You could just make a dummy unit (no model or anything) placed in the corner of the map and give it to the icon of your unit. Then, have a trigger that detects whenever X player selects that unit and select the other unit instead.

My map isn't a campaign, it's going to be released as an online game. It's... not too bright if I rely on chance for something to work, I want SURE FIRE results.

Lies. It works just fine.

In fact, it'll do exactly what you want, Tide-Arc Ephemera. Check out the testmap (disregard the name of the map, I used an old testmap). Select a unit; if you type "hero" it will make it a Mountain King; if you type "unit" it will make it a footman.

I tested the test back and forth around 20 times... I crashed eventually... because the number of hit points hit like 100 thousand for some reason.

*edit - Integrated it into my map, fully functional, all set to go! +Rep to Pyrogasm!

Yeah I kind of figured that in my other thread. I integrated this into my map, I just want to know if it's possible to stop the kill-unit crash.
