i don't like the leaves and the branches seem to grow thicker as they grow farther from the trunk which is completely unrealistic but i really like the colors and the grass |

The tree doesn't have enough branches. You can cover it up by using more leaves, but it's one odd looking tree atm. Good surrounding environment though. If only the focus of attention was better-looking... |

The base of the trunk is WAY too wide compared to the rest of the tree, it's like you're tree is a pointer. Tree's don't become so thin so drastically. Check an image of a tree for reference. |

sooo...where's the landscape? All I see is a big fat tree with not enough detail for being so up close. When you make a landscape you must focus on the entire environment, not on a single tree. Seriously, this lacks everything a landscape painting should be about. The idea when drawing a landscape is to capture as much of the atmosphere and terrain as possible. And I don't really get if that grass is a hill and you see the mountain peaks from far away (very bad choice; you should have seen the mountains whole, and maybe add a river with some lush forests and stuff until the mountains; and you should have put the viewer on top of the hill, 'cause no one really wants to see a hill this up close, as a primary thing...) or if it's a plain ending directly into the mountains (in this case the perspective would be horribly wrong and not nearly enough detail for such a long way). I don't know if I remember correctly, but I think I suggested you to paint real environments, from photos (not paint over the photo and pick colors with the eyedropper tool...I mean look at the photo and draw what you see on a separate canvas). That would improve your knowledge and abilities a lot. If I didn't told you this, then I just told it to you know. |
