Can't see my own icons

Hi there, i really need help, because my icons don't work

I working on a campaign-project and downloaded some models
Now I need some Icons for them, because there aren't any for them

That what i did:
... made some Screen-shots in WE-Editor
... changed them with "Nero Photosnap" to 58x58, cut something away and changed them from .tga to .jpg
... opend a new Image with "Paint" (I know, it's not really good...)
... set image-size to 64x64
... made metal-border
... paste the 58x58 screen-shot picture into the image and placed it in middle
... made a copy of it and changed the border black (the DISBTN)
... saved as .jpg (paint dont work with .tga)
... made color-settings from the DISBTN to 50% (DISBTN completed)
... extracted with "Nero Photosnap" both to .tga
... extracted both with "WC 3 Image Extractor 2" to blp
... imported the files
(they didn't get their normal names, i called them "BTNTroll-Hütte" and "DISBTNTroll-Hütte" and they appear like this: "BTNTroll_H_LP" and "DISBTNTroll_H_lp")
I changed them to the right path (ReplaceableTextures\CommandButtons\BTN...) and so on

I can't show them up in WE and "WC 3 Viewer", but in "WC 3 Model Editor"
I tried with importing as .tga but they also get their strage names, their typ called "other" and ther don't work either.

May it's the Image-programmes i use,
may the XX-bit setting from the pictures
(i don't know how to show or to change it)

When you now thing, I'm a noob in making images and so on, you are absolute right ^^°

you have killed the alpha channel. it makes things invisible or teamcolor. check out the tutorials.

you also cant use and letters with silly "effects" on them like that U with points, and high stripes like this: -, you have to use the low ones: _
