PM Count Gone Wonky

My "Unread Private Messages" count has randomly set itself to 65535, and I don't know why:



I tried reloading pages, going to my PMs page, logging out/in, and using a different browser, but I couldn't manage to get it to return to normal.

Edit: And no, I didn't just photoshop that.

1,111,111,111,111,111 new mails. 16 bits, 2 bytes.

My point being that it hasn't been screwed up like this since the PM deleteage; only recently.

I'm guessing that it has 2 bytes of data in it, and it went from all 0s to all 1s. It could be that it was set to -1 or something, causing it to loop back to maximum (poor defensive programming + bug).

My MSN has an error like that. In the '5 Other Contacts' section that I set up... 65535 contacts in that section supposedly exist.

Also, it's the majik number. In UMSWE, the limits to everything is 65535. Attack missile speed, movement speed, sight radius, everything that's an integer.
