Hardcore Hero Island is a new style of map that gives the option of being a team survival map, or an arena map. The North Team and the South Team can team up against waves and waves of creeps, or can fight each other for a selected amount of time.
Hardcore Hero Island is full of unique heroes and tons of unique items, in it's finished state i plan on there being hundreds of items attainable through different processes.

Berserker: The Berserker Mazuru was eliminated from the last remaining clan of berserkers before they were destroyed. Berserkers possess the abilities necessary to wipe out fields of enemies in a short time, while avoiding taking damage.
Agility Based Abilities:
Berserker: The Berserker goes berserk! He shoots around the battlefield attacking random units while having a 100/200/300/400 damage bonus! Lasts 3 seconds!
Pulverize: The Berserker's rage runs through his blade into his enemy. Gives a 5/10/15/20% chance to deal 50/90/150/200 damage in the area around him when he attacks.
Berserker's Training: The Berserker went through years of vigorous training to become the warrior he is today. Increases his chance to evade by 5/8/15/21% and gives him a 5/8/13/18% chance to do double damage on an attack.
Ranger: Nara was born under the arrow of her father, the greatest ranger of all time. Her father's skill did rub off on her over time and she has taken her fathers place as the current most skilled with a bow. She can defend herself while dealing large amounts of damage to enemies.
Agility Based Abilities:
From The Heavens: The Ranger focuses her energy to bring the power of the archer goddess down to fight for her. Arrows rain down from above her toward enemy units nearby. Lasts 8 seconds. Amount of arrows increases with level.
Power Arrow: An arrow imbued with firey magic is shot at the target, dealing fire damage equal to 30/40/50/60% of the target's maximum life. Also stuns for 4 seconds.
Trueshot Aura: The Ranger's skill rubs off on nearby allies, increases her, and nearby friendly units' attack damage by 10/13/16/20%
Illusionist: Adora Nightshade is part of an elite clan of warriors that use confusion to their advantage, she has the ability to deal large amounts of damage and confuse the enemy using summoned allies that don't actually exist.
Agility Based Abilities:
Illusionary Army: The Illusionist conjures images of all the units in the area casted, illusions will take 300/250/200/150% damage and will deal 10/20/30/40% damage of the unit copied. Has an AoE radius of 300. Illusions last 45 seconds.
Shift: The Illusionist shifts through an alternate plane to alter her position, moves her to a random point 500 away from where she is. Has a 40/30/20/10 second cooldown and a 40/30/20/10 mana cost.
Assaulters: The Illusionist creates assaulters 10/15/20/25% of the time she attacks, assaulters cannot be targeted and deal a small amount of damage with a rapid attack. They live for 10 seconds each.
Warden: Nalmeena has perfected the art of avoiding damage while dealing a fair amount herself.
Agility Based Abilities:
Fan of Knives: The Warden hurls a flurry of knives, damaging nearby enemies. Deals 100/175/250/325 damage in a 400 AoE.
Blink: The warden teleports a short distance. Costs 50/40/30/20 Mana and has a 38/28/18/8 second cooldown.
Deflection: The Warden has a chance to decrease the damage taken by an attack by 25/50/75/100. If the damage dealt is less than the reduction factor, she will gain hp according to the difference.
Paladin: Zann, a Paladin of Warring times, has always been of the holy order. He uses his powers to support his teammates by boosting their defenses and using spells to defend them, while he can also deal a good amount of damage.
Strength Based Abilities:
Chain Thunder Clap: The Paladin slams the ground, dealing 50/100/150/200 damage to all nearby units, affected units will also do a clap that deals the same damage in the area around them. 700 radius aoe.
Devotion Aura: The Paladin's sense of holyness and honor creates an aura of protection. Increases the armor of nearby friendly units by 5/10/15/20
Glorious Defense: The paladin focuses his energy on an ally to create a powerful barrier around them, this barrier protects the affected unit from spells and magic damage. There is also a 20% chance for the unit to get healed for 50/100/150/200 hp when being attacked.|nLasts 20/25/30/35 seconds.
Enforcer: The Enforcer Morg Wolfsong was born in a small village where all he knew of war was stories and myths.. but he beleived and worked his way to achieving a powerful status, he is now one of the most powerful warriors today.
Strength Based Abilities:
Chain of Pain: Hurls a bolt of pain that jumps from target to target and tears them apart! deals 150/200/250/300 damage to the initial target and damage decreases every jump.
Burst of Strength: The Enforcer gets a powerful burst of strength! Doubles his strength for 15/20/25/30 seconds!
Beatdown: The Enforcer Randomly gets a burst of fury and can bash through entire armies at once! Gives a 10% chance to gain a 50/60/70/80% attack speed increase for 4 seconds on an attack!
Mur'gul King: Aggronor, the king of all Mur'guls has an amazing sense of leadership and an army of minions by his side, controls many summons to mass the enemy and keep him locked in, meaning certain death.
Strength Based Abilities:
Aggronor's Command: King Aggronor is a worthy king and has a great sense of leadership, all summoned units around him gain a 40/60/80/100% attack bonus for 45 seconds when used.
Watery Minion: The King calls in his minions, summons 1/2/3/4 watery minions to do your bidding.
King's Population: The Mur'gul king has an immense population of Mur'guls on his side, randomly creates a watery minion every 50/40/30/20 seconds.
Tauren Vindicator Mull Stormhoof is the king of strength, at the cost of agility. He does not let his enemies get away, he can deal large damage to them and has many ways of closing the distance between him and his target.
Strength Based Abilities:
Bull Rush: The Tauren spends 2 seconds building up fury, then gets a 150% speed bonus for 16 seconds or until he attacks a unit, attacked unit will be stunned for 2 seconds and take 100/150/200/250 bonus damage.
Malicious Gathering: Slams the ground with a powerful force, dealing 100/150/200/250 damage to affected units, also pulls them in toward the Vindicator for a distance of 200 and stuns for 3 seconds.
Ancient Totem: The Tauren carries a large totem on his back, passed down from generation to generation in his family. When stricken, the totem unleashes it's fury. Lowers nearby enemy attack damage by 20/30/40/50% when attacked from behind. Lasts 8 seconds.
Mage of the Inferno: Born among humans James was a typical child. Until he met fire, he became so obsessed and his rebellion increased to the point where he knew everything there was to know about fire. Only he could develop the nickname Hades. Good for dealing damage, but has no support skills.
Intelligence Based
Ring of Fire: Hades gathers his power to create multiple explosions to deal fiery damage to units a certain length away from him. Creates explosions in a circle and deals damage to any unit 400-600 away from him. Deals 150/300/450/600 fire damage.
Scorcher: Hades has spent so much time around fire, he is starting to become it. When he is attacked by a melee unit he will return 10/20/30/40% of the damage he takes.
Hades' attacks are upgraded. Adds 5/10/15/20 damage to his attack and burns to ground where he attacks.
Cultist: Dalar Duskweaver made a life changing decision long ago to join an exclusive cult known only to few. This cult exercises deadly magicks and he has picked up on many of them. Can deal large amounts of damage to multiple enemys.
Intelligence Based
Decimate: Dalar conjures up a powerful force from underground and all enemy units inside the circle are damaged for 75/200/325/450 hp.
Absorb: The Cultist Casts a deadly magic upon the target, Deals 100/175/250/325, the Cultist gains life equal to the damage dealt, the target is stunned for 2 seconds, and the Cultist is stunned for .75 seconds.
React: The Cultist takes pleasure in sharing his pain with his enemies. Gives a 15% chance upon taking damage to deal his INTx1/1.5/2/2.5 damage to a random enemy nearby.
Ancient Mage: Seedus was born of mana and time, he has the power to deal large amounts of damage to multiple foes at the cost of a large amount of mana. But he can also recharge his, and his allies mana quickly. Positively the most powerful mage of today.
Intelligence Based
Mana Bomb: The Mana bomb is a mysterious spell that deals a random amount of damage between 50-200/300/400/500 to units in the area targeted. Mana bomb will deal 25/75/125/175 extra damage if you have Aura of Unending Mana.
Ward of Curses: The Ancient Mage conjures up a ward that Curses a random nearby enemy, only one enemy can be cursed at a time, and will not be cursed if it moves far from the ward. The curse deals heavy damage. Lasts 10/15/20/25 seconds.
Aura of Unending Mana: The Ancient Mage has been spellcasting for so long that he now bestows an aura that recharges himself and others around him of their magical power. Gives a 25% chance for all nearby allies to gain 100/200/300/400 mana after casting a spell.
Manipulator Nilas is the master of manipulation, he has always enjoyed contolling anything he can, he can manipulate the elements and use them to destroy his opponets, he also used his power to manipulate the hawk he rides.
Intelligence Based
Fury From Above: Nilas Manipulates the power of the skys and their fury to bring down a bolt of lightning at the target location, then 3 chain lightnings will spring out from the location, each deal 50/100/150/200 damage and deal less for each jump.
Disruptor: The Manipulator sends a bolt of brain crumbling power at the target, setting his, and his target's mana to 75/50/25/0, also stuns the target for .25 seconds and takes away half of their base intelligence for 15 seconds if they are a hero.
Flood Nova: Nilas Manipulates the moisture in the air and sucks it all with great force to the areas around him, creates 5 large pulses of water around him, each dealing 50/100/150/200 damage to effected units.

Apple of Cariberia:
A very tempting apple, When eaten, agility is permanently increased by 2, but the one who eats it is poisoned, taking 15 damage every 3 seconds.
Buckler of the Green Eagle:
This buckler has been imbued with the Power of Nature! Grants +10 armor and a 8% chance to cast entangling roots on attackers, holding them in place and dealing 60 damage a second for 6 seconds.
Katana of Vinewhip:
This Katana has been imbued with the power of Nature! Grants a +12 attack bonus, a 15% attack speed increase, and a 15% chance to cast vinewhip on an attack, which deals 120 damage to the target.
These are NOT all of the items in the game, of course..there are plenty more, and hopefully hundreds in the future. I will add more to this list later.
