How to reset trigger date without opening the map in WE first. Here's my problem. I used WEU 3 years ago, and I want to open the map and remove all Advanced Trigger data and start all over again using grmoire, but the problem is, I can't save the map since it has a high amount of doodads (I used No-Limits before, but now it doesn't work on this patch). I tried deleting the war3map.wtg using an MPQ editor, and adding a basic trigger file but the trigger data ends up missing/invalid. |

You'll have to extract the war3map.j file and re-write the triggers from scratch. When you open the .j file, all the crap at the top is the WEU stuff, so don't freak out when you can't read it. EDIT: Or find someone with WEU to go in and remove the advanced trigger actions and excess doodads for you; it should work fine after that. |

can you explain what it is you want done? i dont really understand. because i can use WEU and no limits. |

sweet and simple. Once, WE - No Limits supported infinite doodads. Since a patch released by blizzard, that feature no longer works and now he cant edit the map because he wants to keep the doodads intact. |

Simply deleting war3map.wct and war3map.wtg should do the trick. WE does not need those files to load the map and will generate them again after you make the new triggers. You are aware though that all of your triggers will be lost after you do this? |

Always remember: delete (attributes) file in the mpq after every modification you do to it. |
