Ashigaru. Joint effort of me and Kojiro. Might attach a bunch of javelins on his back like the headhunter. Light Blue = team color. This is only my 2nd experience in shading team color. What do you think? |

Nice, is that a peasant model?? how did you get the animation right ?(throwing the spear) |

Actually it's not quite 100% right, I still need to rotate it a bit and then it will be fine. And you were close... it's not the peasant model, but the Militia model :) Has better animations... He looks VERY cool when he does his Stand - 4 animation. And his Stand - 2 omg! He turns his head to the left, then to the right, and you see his hat rotate and it looks very sweet. |

Kojiro made the skin for the original Ashigaru (which was a modified archer) but the model got so ****ed up and I couldnt do what I wanted, so I switched to peasant. I used the same textures as on Kojiro's old skin, then I skinned the hat and team color texture for arms and legs. I skinned the hair (tho you can't really see it) and I edited the model & attached the hat. |

From an overhead view he looks a bit like Yojimbo from FFX, don't you think? |

ZZzz I know this is a lot to ask, but if you ever feel up to it, can you write up a brief tutorial on how you created the hat model? I already know how to attach models thanks to cookie's tutorial, but I am unsure how you did the texture wrap on the new model, etc., and also did you design the new model in a 3d design program like 3d studio max, or did you use the war3 mdx editor on this site? |

I just attached and skinned it. Czelaon modeled it, and kdub unwrapped it. It's the same model I used for my Kensai. I don't know how to unwrap so you'll have to ask them. If you have 3dsmax and KMK's maxscript (check his post in the tool forum) you can make brand new models and export them as .mdx (but they can't be animated) |
