need help importing custom loading screen background

Yeah...well i have a picture i want to use as a background for my loading screen but i dont know how to import it right =/ i tryed jsut importing it as it was but when i went to the loading screen editor part and looked under use imported file it wasnt there.

oh boy.
first of all, the loading screens arent images, theyre models.
so you need the loading screen model.
(too lazy to look for the link right now)
but yeah then you cut your image into 4 sections and convert each section to .blp and import the model and the 4 images with the right paths and vuala, a custom loading screen, I'm 99.99% sure you could find a better tutorial using the SEARCH function, which you should have done before posting.

Actually, each section needs to be a TGA.

Isn't it simpler to download WE unlimited and use the option for loading screens it automatically creates the image in 4 BLP images and creates the model

It's simpler to do LoadScreen.mdx + LoadScreen.blp because it's universal throughout all systems (Mac, Linux and Windows). It may have low detail in certain images, but it works.

I use UMSWE and they sadly don't have that option...

i used other way of making loadscreen, harder but with better result.

use "import directory" from grimore extensions and you will got it work.

i have used standart textures in sample, but you may easy change it.
