Ever wanted to see a certain ability in a TD? This is the chance for your dreams to come true! We have a more than qualified JASS coder on the team, so if you can think it up, chances are he can code it. Do feel free to take ideas from other games (like DotA) if you want, as long as they make sense within a TD. Abilities can be of any type (slow, disable, damage, special effect etc.). The map in question is Element TD 4.0. Looking forward to ideas and suggestions. |

Reversal Tower: Has a low attack, but offers a chance that a creep will be sent walking backwards for X seconds. Pulse Tower: Does not attack normally. Rather, every X seconds it targets a unit and releases a barrage of energy bolts. Bloodlust Tower: Perfect for defeating enemy players. Every X seconds, it increases the move speed of X random spawns in each player's lane other than your own. Morale Tower Has a chance upon attacking to use an low AoE "roar" ability which increases the attack of nearby towers. Antarctic Tower Another player buster, upon attacking, it has a chance to slow the attack speed of a random player's towers. Time Flux Tower Has no attack, but every X seconds, a unit is sent back to the starting point. Units cannot be time fluxed more than once, and only a certain number are allowed in your maze. Beer Tower Attacks normally, but tags a unit with a drunken buff. Molotov Tower Hurls burning bottles at enemies that do splash damage. If the unit has the Beer Tower Buff, it burns the unit over time. All I can think of right now. I'll add more if I think of some. |

Chimera Tower - Has Triple shot (Barrage) Frost Whirm Tower - Attack freezes for 0.x secs (The frosts freeze ability) Banshee Tower - Cast Terror Scream (Confuses units so they walk back to the origin) Arrow Tower - Randomly casts arrow fury (Shoots arrows around him something like Venomancers Ulti in DotA) Thats for now updates will come :P need to wander in the editor to get new ideas :D EDIT: Volcano Tower - ... don't know ho to call the ability (Phoneix Fire )Ice Age Tower - Ice Age (Star Fall with effect of frost novas) Season Tower - Randomly changes color (Winter,Spring,Summer,Autumn) and cast a spell for each season - Ill add some spells when i think of some Ice Wind Tower - Haves Piercing attack that attack more enemy's in a row Rock Hurler Tower - Haves the Smack ability (The bash that moves, ability like the Spirit Breaker in DotA) Sandstorm Tower - (Must be close) haves Sand Storm aura that slows units affected by it and does some dmg (Unholy Aura hehe) Mud Tower - Tower that cast Earthify (Something like Entagling Roots but stone :P) or u can make a Muddy Ground ability that slows units Earthshaker Tower - Earthquake Armagedon Tower - (Earthshaker + Volcano) cast some kind of volcano Darkness Tower - Dark Mind (Curses the creep confusing him and making him attack his allies) Priests Tower - Gives positive buffs to other towers (but only 1 can be choosen) Old Tree Tower - Leaf Strike (Critical that adds bleed) well ill take a rest .. ill add more later hope you'll like at least some |

Reflective Arrows - Attacks have an X% chance to generate an illusion of it and the illusion attacks it, dealing an amount of damage (you find the value for this). |

The fact that element TD doesn't let you do affect pathing destroys most of my ideas for towers: I love screwing with pathing. You could still have some interesting ones, like tower of "throw one unit at another" or tower of "when a unit dies, revive it by taking life from a nearby unit, potentially increasing splash damage by keeping # targets high" |

Blighting Tower - Has a weak dot attack and blights the surrounding area. Upgraded from Earth/Dark tower. Ash Tower - Can only be placed on blight. Pure high splashing damage. Upgraded from Fire/Dark tower. Infernal Tower - Summons infernals on enemies that get in range, area stunning them shortly. Infernals behave like normal, exept that they float like the heroes. Can only have X infernals up for each tower. Upgraded from Earth/Fire tower. Catalyst Tower - Has a weak basic attack that bounces and becomes stronger with each bounce. Upgraded from Dark/Nature tower. |

Boiling Point -- Each attack adds and increasing amount of damage, units explode on death; "Incinerate." Good in numbers to keep the buff going. Mark of Fate -- moderate damage tower that has a % chance to cast a 'mark' buff on a unit. Seal of Fate -- moderate damage tower that has a % chance to kill any unit with the 'mark' buff on it. Gambler's Glory -- % chance to reduce a unit to % hp. % chance to heal the unit by %. (play with numbers, obviously) Sheepfest -- % chance to cast permanent polymorph on the unit, but also a % chance to cast a short starfall (with sheep as in the effect, obviously) on all your nearby towers. Finder's Fee -- Autocasting ability that does high damage but drains your gold; "Orb of Ani" + triggers. I don't know, just throwing some ideas out there. |

I've never put much thought for abiltieis for structures. I've played Element TD before, but I always get my butt kicked(my brother always survives 'til the end, I only get about two thirds the way X_X). Something for Element TD... Glimmering Speed - When a tower attacks, it will spawn a trace of light that will speed towards the original starting point of the spawned monsters, dealing damage to all enemies in it's path. If there are no enemies within a certain distance, the trace of light will speed in the opposite direction(the direction of where all of the creeps are moving). Paranoia - When a tower attacks, the target will attack the nearest unit once with double their attack damage, friend or foe. Spazer Shaker - When a tower attacks, it will produce three mini-shockwaves that will aim for the tower's target, each dealing [X] to the target and [X] damage to enemies in their way. Makeshift Bounce - When a tower attacks, the target will be bounced away to the nearest turning point of the running lane. Spout - When a tower attacks, the target will be launched into the air due to a stream of gushing water, dealing [X] damage to the target and an additional [X] damage to surrounding units when it lands. Something like that...? |

If it's possible... Healing Tower - Heals a runner in another player's lane. Or any other variation of the Healing Tower. That's really all I can think of--all the other ideas are pretty good, too. |

I beleive the NAME has been said, but no ideas for it; Season Tower; It changes model between Winter, Fall and Summer trees. Winter has slowing attack, and has achance of permnently freezing a unit. If attacked by a fire attack, though, the unit will thaw. Fall has wind attacks, that push back X number of units with a gale of leaves, and may also deal small damage. Summer creates a "sun" Unit, that boosts fire-type moves weakens water and cold type moves.The sun has a random chance of burning unit and setting them ablaze, catching all nearby units on fire, too, who in turn set fire to all nearby units to them. If hit by a water attack, the units are returned to normal, and the fire extinguished. |

Thanks to everyone who has brainstormed tower ideas, please keep up the good work. @Ignitedstar: Yes, those are some good ideas. In fact, I've decided to try out "Spout," in the next beta. |
