My third skin and my first acceptable one EDIT:worked on the helm to make more shine/blurr less. Also worked on the claws to make them more realistic. BTW what do you mean the contrast? do you mean in detail level, theme, style, or colors. |

Your screenshot is terrible, i can't see what the skin looks like. |

Attach your preview image as a .jpg file, not .tga. |

the huntress is a shitty model so it's hard to judge, but i'd say the skin looks rather blurry and lacks contrast, depth, and color the only part i like even a little bit is the section of exposed ribs on the nightelf |

Not bad, but could use a bit of work. I really like the face on the panther, but it's feet keep bothering me for some reason. They look like grey blobs with white lines sticking out of them. Maybe that's how the original looked, but whatever. I don't really like them. Actually, now that I look at it, the skin of the panther (as in, the body part skin, not the huntress model's skin) looks terrible in contrast to the place where it's rotting flesh and bone. The contrast between the two just seems too sudden and weird to me. Also, the helmet is kinda blurry and undefined. Maybe thats just the picture, but that's how it looks to me. Maybe add a portrait shot so it can be better seen. |

k worked on the helm and claws a little to make them less blurry. What do you mean by contrast: color, detail, style, theme, something else? |

It looks very messy and blurry, so I'm gonna move this to wip textures so it can be improved. |

Style isnt something to worry about, it just has to be consistant. Look at Erwt's stuff, and then look at Egg's stuff. Theme, consistant, dont wanna contrast theme. Dont want skittles of the rainbow and undead in the same model. Unless you intent for it to suck. You want to contrast color, when everything is the same color, it blends together, and you lose a lot of detail and you lose the focus of the person, and it looks like a gray smudge with bits of red instead of an undead huntress. Same with details. Crisp and clean rather than messy and sloppy. Think well oiled machine, and not "modern art sludge". Isnt 2d art great? BTW, I really like the face. |
