Removing Hammer and book of a Paladin's model with Magos Model Editor

Hello. I need to create new units (Paladins using the default model but without hammer and book) and I use Magos Model Editor. I extracted the files of the melee Paladin (model - model_portrait and texture) from the MPQ and I changed the texture path to the texture's name of the one which is outside the MPQ. But what I have to do now ?
The help doesn't work. I seems that the file can't be read by Windows Vista.

In your link I first read that :

Start by making sure that you are using a period for a decimal, not a comma. Warcraft uses periods and you will get problems if you use commas. It can be changed under "Regional Settings" in the Control Panel.

How to do that ?

There you have it.
It's called "Regional and Language Options" in Windows XP.
Just open it, click on Customize and put a period into the field field ("Decimal symbol").

Edit: damn, it's a period, not a comma, my bad.

OK, I think I've found it. But which symbol I put there ? You adviced me to put a "comma" (what do you call a comma ? that : , ?) but on the tutorial ( http://www.oinkerwinkle.com/tools/tu...onremoval.html ) they say to put a "period". What is it ? (Sorry, English isn't my natural language)

I tried to replace the default symbol ( , ) by a blank and now their isn't any error message when I launch the tool.
Now I'll try to find a mdx-mdl converter. I'll go back if I have another problem.

A "period" is just a full stop. So you replace "," with "." (excluding quotations ofcourse).

WTF ! The mdx-mdl converter don't works ! I'll try again modelling later but for the moment I give up.

Is there anyboby who take model requests here ?

Edit : blu_da_noob posted before me. I'll try what he said.

Edit 2 : I've found another mdx-mdl converter and I removed book and hammer from the Paladin's model.
But my new "Paladin" (in fact I want use him as a king) now lack Portrait. How can I add him some ?

... this is more a MDL Editing question rather than anything else. Just create a duplicate and use it as the model or whatever... just import a 'clone' portrait.
