Nother little something i'm working on. I cant really find any decent references for either fat people or samurai/ronin type dudes, so if anyone has some usable links to that, i applaude thee.

Still needs a lot more detail, obviously. And it needs something special... But i dont know what just yet. He'll probubly dual wield katanas as weapons though.

The face could use some major cleanup, I can see lots of ngons. Other than that it's pretty neat so far.

Yeah i was planning on cleaning that up when i got to the smoothing groups, as i'm still kind of nooby at predicting how the topology effects smooth.

I did a quick test earlyer (attatched) where i applied multiple instead of just smoothing the whole thing, but i dont know how this kinda stuff will turn out with wc3 lighting.

It will turn out exactly like that, wc3 knows smoothing groups.
To me he looks now more like a nigga bruiser than like a jap vicious warlord.

Jeb. But like i said, i've been unable to find a good reference. It just occured to me that googling "sumo" might do the trick though, so i'll do that. Up to date i've never even drawn a japanese face, so this is quite the challenge. As long as i dont end up with something anime, i'm good.

Whats that supposed to mean? I post these to get some feedback, becouse honestly i dont think this is all it could be yet. I dont know a whole lot about japanese culture and what them blokes down there look like, my imagination in that area is kind of running thin. Therefore i post, and hopefully some of the asian guys can help me out.

Of course they're here to tease us, Mr. Erwty can't animate and Chrizzy is a busy man these days.
