So awhile back warcraft 3 stopped working for me so I uninstalled it, but my brother had the roc cd in his dorm so I couldn't reinstall. Today I got the cd, installed roc and then tft. Then I tried to open a custom map and I got this strange error and WE quit. If I try to open any custom maps this happens. Also when I try to open any map without WE being already open, my computer doesn't even know what program to use to open the map. Here is the errror: This application has encountered a critical error: Not enough storage is available to process this command. Program: C:\Program Files\Warcraft III\WorldEdit.exe Object: CustomObjectField (.?AUCustomObjectField@@) I have no clue what's wrong with it. There is plenty of storage on my computer. |

This is the error you get when opening a map optimized by Vexorian's Map Optimizer. This means the map you are trying to open is protected and will crash the WE. Did you try it with one of Blizzard's melee maps? Do those load correctly or give the same error? |

This is what I get when I open any map that is not a normal wc3 one. Blizzard's maps work fine. |

Try making a new map real fast, saving it, then closing WE, reopening it, and loading the map you just created. If you error out of that, then I say reinstall WC3. If you don't, I would think the maps you're trying to load earlier were protected/optimized or corrupted or some variant. Because really, I just checked, that's the exact same error an optimized map gives me when I try to load it. |

Did you update? |

I made a new map, saved it, and reopened it and everything went fine. I found an old map that I could open, and it had nothing that was edited in the object editor. In fact all maps that I used as tile testing maps with nothing changed in the object editor work. Pyrogasm you mean patches? EDIT: Patching worked, thanks. |

I had totally forgotten about patches. I guess the symptoms are very reminiscent of that though, good call Pyro. Glad it works. |

When i saw the title i just thought it was another jerk trying to open protected maps and being all "WTF" and i was just going to go "HAHAHA IN YOUR FACE" and lock it. Glad it was genuine <3 |

Thanks ewrt:P Well there's another weird thing, when I actually use wc3 a section of the right side of the screen is always black. Is there some way to move the image around so as to fix this? |

Yes, I did mean patching. As for you other problem, is it possible that that's the camera bounds and you just don't know it? :P |

No the black goes over the UI also, and I'm not that stupid:P It's like everything is shifted left some. |
