My map allows the host to set camera bounds (one of two options in a dialog). Once I do this, however, the minimap display screws up and shows my whole map (which looks like two big green fields divided by a black line) even though the camera on it is restricted to only one of the big green fields. Is there any way I can correct this by changing the minimap display in-game to correctly display the area defined by the new camera bounds? |

If both places have identical terrain, you could simply take a screenshot of half of the minimap, touch it up, and then import it to the map as "war3mapMap.tga". I believe that's the path, else it's "war3mapPreview.tga". |

I considered that option and I may just do it. Unforunately, the two sides will be different once I'm done. Is there any known way to change the minimap icon after the game starts, like as part of a trigger? |

only in verry limited ways with custom neutral building icons. maybe also creation of destructables, but i don't think so. Edit: In my experience, ingame minimaps NEED to be 256/256. Else WC3 likes to crash for some odd reason. |

I think I'm just going to go the path most traveled and scrap my original reason for redefining the camera bounds. It was kind of unnecessary anywho. |
