So...what was the practice? It wasn't anatomy for sure...Lighting? I don't know, you can't really tell what volumes are in there.
Next time you practice, take a photo reference or even better lay an object in front of you and draw it. Or lay a mirror in front of you and do your self-portrait. I did that once and I improved quite a bit afterwards. I should start doing that again, there's no better practice than that.

by drawing random faces and stuff like that you ofc improve your "drawing-faces-skills" i did alot of these kind of creature-like; defomed; demonic; normal; blah... -faces...
ofc its something else to exactly study anatomy or draw photorealistic pictures, but to practice... it helps on a intuitive way. nah... i dont know how to tell.
but btw i like the face. make more of them

What you say is right, but you can't practice the way you said if you don't know how a face really looks like, for example. Even for caricatures you have to know how to draw faces well first. So basically, you have to make studies first 'else no matter how many practices like these you do you won't improve, you'll just be stagnant.

That's a good idea TDR. Thanks, I think I should try that sometime to work on my drawing and Photoshop work.

One of his eyes seems to be more on the side of his head than the other, but maybe that's intentional.

Also, humans aren't capable of being random.
