I got lazy of animating Olof's Dragon yesterday, so this is what I did instead.
The spheres are going to be replaced by bilboarded planes.
Tier 1-around 450 poligons
Tier 2-around 820 poligons
Tier 3-around 940 poligons
Comments, Suggestions are welcome.
Edit: I also need sugestions for the names of the tiers

well, as it stood in water for a really long time i would suggest making it a bit more destroyed, maybe some broken collums and seaweed and stuff... but its definatly cool!

revolve
I think something like "Serpent's den" or "Hex's den" would be cool. Something with den.

I agree with that, but I think this should be done with the skin.

And I forgot to say they are awesome!!!

Im going to make them look old,and Ill modify some colums to look broken but I want to unwrap and skin them first.
Nice names Moyack, I liked them alot. And yes den doesnt sound appropiate.

Ive done an update to the tier3 because I dont like very much that all 3 tiers share the same central building. does it look better?? or should I stick with the first one?

edit: okay now all look somewhat diferent.

I think you should keep a central building, so when they upgrade, you can see how the building upgrades in shape and looks more natural. BTW, how would be the upgrade animations?? I was thinking in something like water splash appearing randomly from the ground, just an idea.

Really? but doesnt tier 3 look more...powerful with these new building instead of the old tiny one? Ill think about it.
Yeah I was also thinking about how to upgrade the building. I thought that the whole building could turn into water and the upgrades will gradually apear like if the water was taking new form, and yes there should be lots of splashs!!

What is the point of having those spheres such high poly? You could just do a bill board plane or atleast a much simpler sphere.

Nooo!!! turning into water wouldn't look fine, instead I suggest to make the columns and the new parts rising from the ground, like a construction process, but with water burst or splash appearing randomly. In this way it would look elegant IMO.

Brilliant models, actually. Finally someone that gets doing buildings blizzard style, none of that overly straight boring bullshit. Really Jig, i'm loving these.

dude, I advise you to work on the animations for moleman if you care about your balls. I lost one of mine when I told him I couldn't animate grievous anymore.

As for the temple, it's looking pretty sweet, can't wait to see it textured.

Lol, dont worry Im only missing Death and morph alternate animations, that asuming that Olof accept the acnimation sample I sent him yesterday.
