Protecting unit from Devour

Hello,
I have a giant unit with 450 damage, but I can't figure out how to protect it from kodo beast's devour ability. I have given it magic immunity and ancient and giant classification, but it still doesn't help.

Have you tried mechanical?

You can always try to modify the Devour ability to Non-Ancient or something along the line.

This is a tad late, but apparently the race Demon is unaffected by Devour.

Race really affects something? I thought it is just something to sort unts in editor. Are there any other differences?

Undead is a fairly obvious one.

Night Elf (when building) makes things build in the style of wisps, and when they build ancients, it will kill the builder.

Orc will make them enter the building when well... building.

Human, as far as I know, allows power-building.

That's all I know, you might get some stuff for things like creeps, but I don't know any logical tests.

Undead (for spells) is specified by classification, not by race, but building styles...i was never playing with them, but i thought it is specified by abilities. Thanks for info.

Yeah... I think Naga gives you some weird building style that's pretty much identical to Orc's... but I think it's mainly to classify units.
