any tutorial on sword making in 3ds max? ok so ill ask it directly if i made my sword model, adjusted the pivot and added some skins, can i export it directly in mdx and ready to use? or do i have to edit the mdls before using? is it the pivot point where the hands should be placed? or what? |

Exporting from 3DSMax is a royal pain if you ask me. Some have success with it, but all my attempts have been failures. If you just want to make a sword, you could try modeling it in Max, then somehow getting it into Milkshape or Vertex Modifier to export it. Then you would need to skin it using LithUnwrap or something. |
