Hello, I want to know if theres a way to make roof doodads go ontop of wall doodads. I've seen it before, in some nice doodad packs in the resource section, but I dont know how to do it myself. I also want to know if theres a way to make units be able to walk inside them without actually walking on them... help would be nice.

Select a doodad, then hit PG Up or PG Down to move it up or down. No, units cant go under doodads (unless the doodad has no pathing texure)

Yeah, Basically select it and press ctrl + pgup or down and then if you want the unit to go through the tunnel, you just have to put not walkable boxes on the sides of the walls and they wont go through the walls then =P

Yes, Select a doodad, hold Ctrl (control) and use the page up and page down keys to raise and lower the doodad.

Pathing (in the object editor) will stop units. It is easy to select none. However I warn that it is best to keep your pathing for your doodad while you are placing the doodad. Pathing allows better control of placement of doodads.

Once your doodad is placed you can edit it via the editor to remove or change the pathing.

Pathing will not allow two doodads with the same pathing to be in EXACTLY the same place. This can come in handy when building say a wall of regular doodads - like stacking a brick wall out of your Wall Destructible found in the sunken ruins with a running bond theme - it can be a pain if you want to stack dooddads one on top of the other exactly.

To place doodads whose pathing over laps hold the shift key while placing.

Most doodads do not have a texture on the bottom - thus if the bottom can be seen you will see nothing. If you are placing your roof high enough to where the bottom is seen (not seen since there is no texture) you can take other doodads and change their angle of placement to where they are upside down or on their side to create a "ceiling".

How would I come about changing the "angle of placement"?
