I have an ability based on channel with 3 levels. first two levels have a 1.5 sec cast time, last one has a 0 cast time I have another ability that makes certain abilities instant cast by setting the ability to their 0 sec cast time levels however, it doesnt work as expected. it still has the same cast time. im 100% certain it's changing the level (it has a different tooltip) im completely stumped. any ideas? |

Have you tried using a 0.01 second casting time? In most cases, it is effectively 0. |

Already did. No difference |

Have you tried messing with the Follow Through Time, Duration AND/OR Casting Time? |

Spell duration on channel does not change when you change it's level with a trigger. I had the similar misbehavior once, first level had 100 sec cooldown and second had 50 sec, but it always was 100 no matter what I did. And channel is not the only spell like that.... |

yeah, I just tried holy light and there's still no difference. fuck did you find a spell that leveled appropriately? and PS, it seems the cooldown levels OK with channel, just not the casting time |

No I actually gave it up eventually. :D But then while I was round-kicking some noobcakes in the face I got a brilliant idea. I created a new spell that had only one level but "pretended" to be the final level of the first spell, and in the trigger simply replaced the first spell with the second one and back. Who's da gratest sailor in the whole white world. |
