I am using this gallery to display finalized terrain for my ORPG 'Tarrenfell: Besieged'.

My completed list (in order of appearing below):
  • Mistvale - A small border village with a rather unimpressive history, as it has little to no agricultural, military or artistic achievements.

A RPG like this doesn't attract us. Use some custom stuff, or more variations and elevations. And use the same thread please.

I started this thread so I can put all of my images in here.

I am making this ORPG for my friends birthday, and he told me what he wants, and this is part of what he wants so can you please stop insulting everything I submit...

If you actually asked, you'd find out, this is my first real map, and that I am a starter terrainer. The only reason I am posting it here, is because I am trying to get support and learn how to improve, which I thought was the purpose of this site, to help people who are making maps.

Although the screenshot of the terrain is simple and no custom doodads, it looks pretty nice. To be honest, it looks like something I made back when I was starting to terrain maps in the World Editor.
Keep it up!

PS: Celestea is right though, simple Warcraft terrain with no custom doodads and/or units isn't as interesting as it was back in the day... so you may want to consider importing new stuff to keep people's attention.

@ Bounty_Hunter2: Well, they aren't randomly put, if they where, then I am bloody lucky that they all decided to face the correct way and WE knows me better then I know myself.

@Craka_J 123: Thank you for the encouragement. I might use custom doodads and models, but I find it looks much better if you use he premade stuff in maps, because it all seems to fit with the same graphic styles. I hate it in maps when you have low poly heroes, running through high poly houses with cartoon looking abilities next to proper looking abilities.

If I can find some that fit and are nice, I will use them though.
