This map, obviously, is Mario Kart. Mario Kart is a Racing map that uses arrow key controls. There is two different levels....there's not much more to say. Please just download this map and host it a few times. |

Your right ): I forgot to post details about my map. Here goes: 3-9 players Racing game Uses arrow key controls Has two different levels(working on 3rd) Controls are good, 1/5 second response time Also besides Azeroth Grand Prix(from what i know) there are no racing maps, at least none that use arrow key controls. I'd love to see people get enjoyment from this map XD that's why i made it. Please give it a try!!! Even if you can't host download it and "Test Map" in campaign editor to see how fun it really could be! Thank you and I apologize for the VERY BLAND post above! |

Change your movement triggers. When you release the arrows the guy just stops, and when you press the arrows, the guy just starts moving... Your terrain needs a lot of work (especially the rising bridges in the second track). This map needs HELP! |

The point is when you press a key...it moves... I'm not sure what there IS to change... |

Well, this is a racing game, which usually means a vehicle of sorts. When you press the pedal of the car you don't instantly start at 200mph, instead, it slowly speeds up. Same with breaking... the car doesn't stop on a dime. Even if it isn't vehicles, but a foot race, when you run, you don't get top speed instantly. It takes a second or two. As well as stopping. It takes a couple seconds to go from a full-out sprint to rest. And easily implementation is to change the unit movement speed. As the arrow is held down, increase the movement speed by a value. When you release it, decrease the speed. Of course you would have a max limit that would stop the increase and use 0 as the min limit. |

Hmmmm... That's a coold idea, thanks for pointing it out. Although considering the horrible system i used for movement it would take me hours to put that in for each player. I might try it for one player and see how it is. Thanks for the suggestion. |
