Guest | This is my second skin, the first being a re-color. I was going for a chain-mail look, but I still wanted his muscles to show. Let me know what you think. |

Well done. I like the yellow skin tones, and the colours in general. Although it appears to be mostly re-colour, i definately like the mail you gave him. |

Guest | Thanks. I agree (mostly re-color). I want to get rid of that ugly flag and flag stick, but I couldn't edit the mdx with any tools I have. The sword will change, and the feet also (too much like the original BM). I would love to add a helmet, but again I don't know how to import objects. |

You should contact ZZzz for a helmet, he's already created some. |

Guest | thanks again. Now, is there anyone that has an edited blade master mdx that doesn't have that ugly flag? If so, could you post it here? Edit: Also without the hero glow. I want him to be a standard character. |

Ask Cookie, he's able to do that in 5 minutes for you, if he hasn't got the model ready yet. |

Overall looks pretty good. Here is a page with some sample helmets that people have done (not the greatest, but gives you some ideas at least): http://www . campaigncreations . org/warcraft/freebies/units-models . shtml (take the spaces out to go there, for some reason this website hoses any URL I paste with all *'s) |

Guest | Byelobog - Bad link dude. Anyways, I'll most likely will have to ask this somewhere else but... Is there any other tools that can be used to edit mdx files besides 3DS Max? I am good at the creative side of modeling, but the only tools I have are: Bryce 5, Poser 4, and a shareware modeler. I have tried to export *.OBJ files from Poser, then import them into that MDXText editor. But the text editor doesn't read it. The key here is money...I don't want to shell out a bunch of money for 3DSMax. Is there any shareware or otherwise that will work? |

Guest | Byelobog - Okay, link fixed now...man those helmets are horrible. Style is okay. Scale is all wrong, or maybe its just me. I could make better...I just need the tools. |

Guest | Electromancer - That would be great to get that model. Are you still working on it? |

To get rid of the flag you can use mdx to mdl converter and edit the .mdl with note pad. |
