Ive looked about for something about this, but i cant seem to find it so, hopefully somebody can help :) im currently working on a resident evil project, its permanently at night, since things all go darker, at night, i was wondering if it was possible to make it much more darker, but still keep the lights etc nice and bright, as its set in a mansion it seems a little too bright at the moment. i thought of a fade filter but that just ends up looking bad.. Ill post a screenshot so you guys can see what i mean, and yes, its 100% doodads. if it makes any differance im using the dungeon lighting at the moment.. Anyway, thanks for reading =) |

hmm maybe you could edit [Light] in MiscData.txt. Not sure though. |

You'd have to replace the light model(s) (just an omni light) used for night and day with an empty model, with no lights at all. This SHOULD make the map completly dark, I think. |

How did you make those bright lights on there? Lookin' good! |

so if i replaced it with a very dark model, i could still see where there isant those other lights, but it would be very very dark, and the actual light doodads would really stand out? =) |

I think so. I'll whip up the model right now. I just need to know what tileset you're using. |

It doesn't matter what tileset, there are only... five? ... actual light models, and you can switch them around in the editor anyway. |

Those screens look awesome, especially the second one. Looks like a lot of time went into making all those doodads. |

Yeah, but to overwrite the lighting model's name, I need to know which tileset he's using. BTW, here's the no light model: |

You can specify with JASS which light models to load. |

You should probably explain it then. |

native SetDayNightModels takes string terrainDNCFile, string unitDNCFile returns nothing |
