A "VFAQ" sticky.

VFAQ, if it wasn't obvious, stands for Very Frequently Asked Questions. I say we plop one into each forum. (GD, Triggering, Modeling, etc.). For example, in GD, one question would be "How to make the max level higher than 10". I think this would cut back on simple threads with simple answers, and would be quite helpful.

Opinions?

While some threads are annoying, the forum activity here has declined in the last few years. Getting rid of these simple questions will take away more posts, and decrease activity even further. Personally, I'd rather see a forum full of dumb question rather than some threads that haven't been touched in 6 months.

artificial activity is just lame.

And no, a vfaq section won't really prevent the questions from being asked

But if we have one, at least you can completley go nutso on the guy who asks a question that was answered on that thread.

It's true -- nobody reads stickies.

So... this seems a little bit pointless?

As I've said in the thread darkwulfv probably got inspired for this, I like the idea. Though I think still some people won't read it, some will, and that'll be better.

nobody reads stickys, but if we have more stickys, then its so much less effort to drop a link and call someone stupid for not looking.

edit: also, i would be willing to write / help write stickys for GD and Triggers & Scripts

Totally my point. We'd get to call peopel stupid noobs alot faster, which ins great in the long run!

Or why not force new members to read all the stickies?
