Sometimes - not always - you can "fix" this by using the water tool, starting where there is water drag the water tool over the affected area. Usually this means that the terrain will bend and contort, so you have to go back with raise/lower (not cliff) smooth it. It may just be easier for you to raise the terrain (not cliff) to bring the land up to cover up the water line. The best bet is to place your cliffs first, then go back with the water tool, using something like sand or another obviously different texture, use the water tool to draw out the water areas. Then, with the enforce water height/limits off - go back with the level tool, pulling the land over the water. Then using the lower (not cliff) tool lower the ground until water appears. Using that method tends to have less of the broken water then say starting off with all water, raising the terrain then building cliffs. |
