I'm looking for a few more Beta testers for my remake of Seasons of Uncertainty (now subtitled Dark Phoenix). It is a huge project, single player only RPG that allows you to control multiple heroes during play, and requires good skill and logic to complete (although a walkthrough is provided). Basically it is an amalgation of WC3 meets FF and Kings Quest in terms of gameplay. Unfortunately it is a huge file (5.7MB) so my options of transfer are limited. However, if you email me at [email protected] with an ICQ # I can send it to you through ICQ. I will also post it at war3files.com for a 24-hour period. The story: You are Commander Gravano, the leader of an Expedition force sent to the isolated continent of Iskan. Unexplained phenomenon have been causing mass destruction worldwide (earthquakes, tsunamis, tornados, etc) and rumor is that an ancient artifact known as the Well of Seasons located in Iskan has something to do with it. Along the way other expedition forces and many of your own men are killed in the voyage, leaving you with few resources when you finally arrive. I can't really go into the story behind the subtitle because that is discovered through playing. It is hard to explain what the features of this game are because there are so many, and I wouldn't know where to start. If you played the original multiplayer version then you will have some understanding, and also you may be familiar with my style if you have played my Gravano's Resident Evil map. What I can tell you is that the various stages of evolution in this map have come from well over 3 months of on and off work. I will post some SS's up later, and if you have any questions I can answer them. I also would appreciate if anyone who can host this map would contact me at the above email. Beta testers and hosts will have their names added to the opening credits, and my gratitude. Thanks again, -Gravano (aka Trav/Mercury) |

I should add that this isn't just starting development. The map is ready for transfer. The original multiplayer version (which I posted a long time ago), can be found here so that you can have a basic idea of what the map may look like (although it is drastically different now): http://www.war3files.com/v2/profile....profile&u=1283 |

The map is now available for temporary download at www.war3files.com under the Maps section. Once again, thanks to all who showed interest and to those who still are looking to help. Any further comments, bugs, etc. can be reported to [email protected] -Gravano (Trav/Mercury) |

http://www.war3files.com/v2/v2_downl...p&file_id=1140 Try that link. The map shows up to me, so it should work. I can't post it anywhere else at the moment due to the file size. |
