Well, if your talking about a different default background image, here is how you would change it: 1. click Scenario 2. Then go to Loading Screen 3. In the Loading Screen dialog box, click the 'Campaign Screen' bubble, and select your desired background image. You may also enter additional map text to be displayed at the loading screen. If your talking about importing a CUSTOM picture such as a BMP, JPG, GIF, or other file format... i am not sure. I have asked about this before and no one knew how. I know that this is too possible, but i wanted the custom picture to show up on battle.net, and that, i don't think is possible. I'm sorry if i couldn't help... yet i hope you find your answer! |

Actually it is possible. I do believe, however that it must be imported into a patch.mpq because importing it into a map will have no effect. That being said, there are four parts to a loading screen background. upper-left, upper-right, Bottom-left, and Bottom-right. I believe they are in .blp format, so just check the war3.mpq with an MPQ viewer for the one you're looking for. There, now you know too, MrDoom. |

yes but my REAL question is: can the custom background be seen when playing the map over battle.net? |

Only if EVERY player has the patch.mpq Otherwise the game will desync, and it might still even if everyone does have it. :nono: |

It's better suited for big campaigns projects, I'd say. |
