Why is HTML code never allowed?

I LOVE HTML and it saddens me that it is never allowed. Why? and if it WAS on then would that include CSS and XHTML or just plain old html?

because allowing HTML has the pitfalls of XSS attacks and allowing people to break the site with it. (example: fake post signatures where the SHIT back in the old eZboard days. Faking posts in your signature was fun....) Besides, theres enogh BBCode to do anything you need.

XHTML = extensible hypertext markup language

woops didnt meen to say css, its just a habit because whenever i talk about HTML i allways include XHTML and CSS

Most users can't even spell or grasp basic English. You're hardly a candidate for well presented posts and you're moaning about lack of formatting options?

HTML is really insecure and can fuck around with people's computers a lot. I've screwed with the less-malicious things you can do with it, and even those are painful.
