obviously the first one is LOTRs but i cant tell how good it is, to far up and no angle. the rest seem fine although the excessive use of smashed walls is kinda weird. u also use smashed column curves a lot and they look good or bad depending on the angle. |

I can't tell much about the first one, but the other seem off somehow (maybe to cluttered without enough variation). The only one I really like is the last one. |

The terrain seems very well detailed and I love the small details you've added as well. Shows that you care for every last bit of the map; atleast terrain-wise. This may be one of the best LotR maps if you fix the flaws that other LotR maps had not fixed. Such as how the player has pretty much no affiliation with their own city. All they do is just create armies and attack and demolish stuff. IMO that is very lame and not creative at all. It'd be great if you add strategic units and give each unit a stronger/weaker purpose against certain things; such as a Catapult, good against structures and fortifications, but weak against melee and magic attacks. There should be a morale system(group fear factor) for this too. As you can see in the movies, morale plays a big role in epic battles and even small battles. High morale gives the units better defense, strength, and high tollerance for fear; Low morale gives the units weak defense, barely any strength, and very fearful, and if out-numbered, they are ordered against the player's will to retreat back to the capital of their home city. I highly recommend you add something like this to your map. I have so many ideas that could make a LotR map such as this be something unique and epic, rather than an extended period of time full of bordom and lack of creativity. ~Craka_J |

Try to get rid of the "floating rocks" on the hillside... they take A LOT away from the overall quality of the terrain. |

If you want to advertise your map, do it in the Map Discussion areas rather than talk about it in a screen-shot gallery. I say, keep the screenshots of your terrain here and post the rest such as detailed information and a good description about your map in another thread somewhere else. Perhaps add a beta or something as well to the post if necessary. PS: Are you atleast going to consider some of my suggestions? ~Craka_J |
