It seems like it is impossible to upload the campaign for some reason, it just says uploading failed. Anyhoo, you can find the campaign at this thread: http://www.campaigncreations.org/for...60.msg6292#new It now contains four missions, and one intro cinematic. The first mission is the most simplest, and I think i have that hammered out now. Im much more interested in feedback from the other three missions, and especially the latest addition, the "misty mountain" mission (that is not so misty yet :P ). That mission contains some mini-games which I am interesting if they works out or not (if they are fun or just annoying). The story: Thale have lost her beloved to coma, and must find a dragon tooth in order to save him. She must travel throught the kingdom to the dragon's mountain in order to gain strenght as a witch trainee, so she can ultimately face the evil dragon Jotna. The campaign is made out of rpg-like missions, with alot of quests, both required and optional. I don't really know what more to say, you kinda have to test it out for yourself. I hope you enjoy it, as I have worked on it for more then a year (not constantly thought) and I have put alot of effort in it. |

Give us some information, we need a reason to test your map instead of doing our own stuff. Although the fact that I'm posting in this thread means I have too much free time :). |

So it's singleplayer, and it's an RPG. That's two ticks in its favour, but I can only see generic ashenvale and cityscape here. Regardless, I download. |

You need to provide a LOT more information. Screenshots of your terrain don't make me think of a fun map. |

Allright, the rpg-like campaign is made out to be your main hero and her companion (a pet). Your supposed to do quests and gain level (in order to win a mission, you must reach a certain level and complete a quest-chain). There is also a chunk of optional quests which should be done to gain the appropiate level (or else you'd have to grind, and that's no fun :P ) There is not that many story-elements ready, but Thale (the hero) is on a quest to gain a dragonstooth in order to save her husband. There are only three missions ready, but I will make more. As I said in the readme file, the campaign is not finished, but I'm interested to know if the gameplay path I've moved into is enjoyable to people, I want to know what irritates and what I can do better :) |

Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaameplaaaaaaaaaay iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiissss ssssssssoooooooooooooooo sssssssssssssslooooooooooooooooooow. Really. You've got no actual offensive abilities, so slow fights aren't even exciting. But that might just be that I'm an adrenaline junky, and it's just a few bits of the first map I've played. |

I did a quick test. Some problematic things I found: In the First map (not including cinematic): Tuva (the Sorceress) had a spelling error in her dialoque ('though' was 'thought') Fruit Stand in North/North-East part of city seemed to be misplaced by one grid Gate in the North-West part of city did not open (don't know if it was or was not supposed to. I destroyed it to get through) 'Parliament' building was misspelled (as 'Parlament') Harmod guy did not take the golden key after the quest thingy (maybe he was not supposed, I do not know, did not read the dialoques too carefully after the beginning) What was the deal with the tavern and the neutral heroes there? I was given the 'Low Health' warning when I entered the Magical Castle In the Second Map (the Magical Castle): General Harmod (or whoever, was he the same guy from the first map?) had 'Medivh' as a unit type which just creates unnecessary confusion I did not get any experience after hitting level 8 (don't know if it is intentional) After completing the quest in the Castle I was simply thrown out without getting a chance to talk to the General guy or anything. I would prefer if the player was teleported to him instead of thrown back to the other map. And lastly: it did not actually load my hero when I returned to the first map from the Magical Castle. It said the 'Loaded' text but I just did not get my hero Overall it seemed pretty decent. I did not find it too slow paced although there was not that much excitement in killing the weak individual creeps (the Salamander Viziers gave a scare with their anti-magic abilities). Dialoque was also pretty weird, but that's not a big deal I guess, if you mainly just concentrate on quests and killing creeps and stuff. Terrain was good, adequate amount of interesting stuff in the city and the vicinity. |

Ouch, it didn't load the hero afther the sub-mission? That is wierd, since it worked when I tested it. I'm so sorry. But you should still be able to play the last two mission too, even though it won't be "your" hero. I'll fix the things you said, thank you for your input ![]() |

I find it very difficult to fix that bug in the first mission. Anyway, have anyone looked into the second and third mission, Shores of Alver and Fjordheim settlement? |
