More Inventory Slots

Hello.

I want to know, is there any way to make more inventory slots? Like, can you have an item which acts like a spell book, that when its used it opens up a big inventory with about 24 slots in it?

Also, if this is the case, is it possible to make it so you can acquire bag items and items can only go to a bag and cannot appear in the normal inventory, and you only see bags? Of course, when you pick up a bag it will appear in the inventory slots and you can drop bags and such, but is there a way, f you can get this bag system to work, that you cant drop a bag that has items in it?

SUMMARY:
  1. Can you make a spell book-like item that, when used, opens up a larger inventory.
  2. Can you make it so that only a certain type of item can go into the normal inventory and all the rest go into this spell book-like item?
  3. Is it possible to make more of these spell book-like items, like bags, so that more things can be picked up?
  4. If so, can you make it that bags auto-move to the normal inventory?
  5. Can you make a system in which, if you try and drop a bag with items in it, it will not drop?

But that isn't the request I was asking... I know all to well about Pocket Stash and it doesn't do half of the things I need it to do.

I wanted to know how to make it so you can only have bags in the invent slots, PS just makes a bag and you can fill up the inventory anyway. Pocket Stash has to be dropped to see whats inside, where as I was wanting a pop up window or control card image.

They are almost completely different.

You *can* do everything you listed. However, it's going to be a massive amount of work if you want to do it yourself. There are tons of item systems out there that offer bags and extended inventories, I would just use one of those.

Maybe add two unmoveable items tht allows you switch inventories? You might know why I've didn't keep typin the rest hopefully...

TaintedReality: Yeah, I have been looking at other inventory systems and none of them really fit into what I'm looking for. Would you be able to point me in the direction of the best Inventory system or for a guide on how to do what I am trying to? Thanks.

I've never been seriously interested in using one of them myself, so I'm not sure which is the best or the closest to what you want =\.

Lets explain it bit more:
Ok your inventory slots
1 2
3 4 Slot 6 is item a unreplaeable/undropable item tht allows you to
5 6 switch item pages so trigger so you can switch pages using charges to display what page you are at. Secondly when stching hide the items at some place where you can't see it in-game, make sure you still add the bonuses though triggers when switchin so the player still thinks he gt the items. then re-add tht pages things when your back at tht page. got it?

I see, so its similar to AAA's system only without all the unneeded parts.

How would I go about making this? I do not know JASS as of yet, so if I need to learn it, please tell me.

u could also try Vexorian's Invx system...but it requires jass knowledge

try reading jass tutorials
