First of all, this map is completely unlike any map created in Warcraft III before. I have completed the first beta version of this new Warcraft map, the gameplay is based on the light cycle battles from tron games. Terrain is randomly generated each time you play. Controls and gameplay are the same as the game "Armagetron," also based on tron light cycles. The game is played by basically you have a car (selectable by race) that constantly moves forward, as he does, he drops explosives. You have to quickly use the arrow keys to maneuver around well. All other players have a car as well, whenever someone runs into an explosive barrel they are killed, the last person alive wins. By picking your race you will select one of four alternate versions of the siege engine, a demolisher, glaive thrower, or meat wagon. There are also powerups added that you can pickup throughout the map. All of the current and future powerups have original, exciting abilities, for example one of them allows you to place four portals, then whenever someone gets near a portal they teleport to another one. There are also ramps, it takes skill to get off a ramp, and if you succeusfully do, your speed is doubled. The game remakes itself and keeps track of kills, deaths, wins, and speed in real time. In the final, have multiple possible powerup spawn points, not include a minimap, have more powerups, and have additional options the host can select to make the game different each time. These options will allow the host to select map size, siege engine speed, obstacle density (minimum 0), and other options, a system that allows for an options screen will be added. Also note that you can do a little move around the boundrys to help you kill other players. Drive straight into a boundry, then your car will start sliding to the side while still creating barrels. Also, I need someone to create a minimap preview screen for this. I also need a blank .blp file that I can use to disable all the RTS stuff. And I need help naming it. Credit will obviously be given to whoever does these things. It would also be nice if a loading screen could be created, but it is not needed. Please post some feedback about your test. Thanks. |

Never tried it yet, though it seems like Worm War / Penguins On Ice. It's not exactly 100% original but it might have a unique variety of things so I'll check it out when I can. |

I looked up a Worm War and found a long video of gameplay of it. Although it is a little similar to this is, it's still a completely different game. In this game, you move forward much faster and turn at right angles, with arrow keys only. The barrels behind you don't go away (unless set to) and you are trying to use them to kill other players, you have to also avoid killing yourself, which is very hard to do. I don't know if I described how it's different good enough, but it's not like Worm War. I couldn't find anything on google or epic war about Penguins on Ice though, so it may be like that, however that map is probably not very well known. You are only the second person to comment about the map, so thank you. I'm really looking for some feedback about what people think of the map though (after they've played it). |

Um, why did you make it so that it spams "XXX person won the game!" 50 thousand times? Or something connected to it, when I tested the game it froze my computer and I had to reset it... |

Why the hell did you protect this? I'm not testing this based on the comment prior to my post. Unprotect it so I can screw around with this first. |

Sorry, I forgot to put support for if you are the only player playing in this version. You have to put on a computer or play on battle.net. There must be at least two people alive or it will say that you won. I'll fix this soon. Quote:
Sorry, but I don't want to release any kind of unprotected version right now. Make sure there are at least two people playing, or wait til next version. If you can help me fix the leaks in my triggers and wish to do so then an unprotected version can be emailed to you. |

Seemed alot like snake to me, and I've played maps that have had this gamestyle before. So it's not unlike any map iv'e played. The terrain was lame, my car seemed to float over dips in the ground =/ You need to widen the view abit too. The map also crashed when I hit a corner of the map. Good start though. |

It's not really at all like snake, especially if your playing online and everything. I don't know what other maps you've played as I haven't found any. The terrain is randomly generated, so it doesn't always look that good. Your car is going so fast it can sometimes go over small bumps in the ground, that's not something I'm going to spend to long trying to fix. The view is the way it should be because it's not supposed to be like snake, your supposed to be racing around trying to kill each other. Also, you are supposed to when you hit one of the walls around the map. |

It's almost exactly like snake, your head or car in this instance goes forward, you leave a trail behind, if you or anyone hits it they die. I didn't go over a small jump I flew over a big hole which is completely illogical. And you're saying the Game is supposed to crash when I hit a wall? That's not right. |

There may be some new versions of snake I don't know about, but none of the versions I've played have been at all very much like this. Okay, so you flew over a big hole, it doesn't matter, whether or not you can fly over a bump in the ground is not that important. The game is not supposed to crash when you hit a wall, you are supposed to slide to the side, and keep playing, which is what always happens to me. If the game actually crashed, then it was probably just that you happened to have just hit a wall. |

Wow, thanks a lot. Because you didn't spend time to make ur map stable and unprotected i lost hours worth of work on my map as well i had to restart. Don't ever post maps that are protected or have bugs like that. |

Yeah, especially without telling us. And from what I hear, this map isn't too good anyway. I never protect maps, excep for may upcoming PandaFPS, simply because optimization is necesarry, otherwise because of Ui and Music combined, it'd be 7 megs. Speaking of PandaFPS, I lost 20 min of work on it when I tried to open your map a couple days ago. |
