Hi, friends. Im learning 3 D MAX 7.0. I want to create warcraft3 models, but i dont know how to create .mdx file and .blp file, and also the poitrait... Im a noob so plx do not delete my thread,...everyone must start at a certain level, right?...just help me if you r kind,..thanks in advance ^^ --hey, btw do you know where to download tutorials? practice excercises that instruct me step by step...because the plain text is so awful... |

You can't create .mdx/.mdl files in 3DSMax7. Only in 3DSMax5 can you do it. So go *find* yourself a copy of 3DSMax5. |

You can't actually buy 3DSM5 anymore, so you can only get it illegally, and this site doesn't support it, which means you're fucked. |

Hence the "*find*". I'm sure there are other people who've had similar problems; go find them. Just don't discuss it here on the website. |

Very useful tutorial, TDR,....thanks...^^ --And..so fortunately, a friend of mine from Swedish Airforce promised to ship me a CD of 3DSM 5.0, ..ho ho ho...btw,..what was wrong with wc3campaigns 3 days ago,..i could not enter our site and this annoyed me very much... |

Most of the scripts that you find work well with MAX 7 and above, unfortunatly, it is sad but true that the only way to export from MAX is using MAX5... or MAX 4 btw. MAX 4 is a lot more stable with the Tools than 5... T. |
