Hello, Im having troubles getting bags to work, like to store stuff in them, I don't know if I use a trigger or JASS, If it is JASS could you tell me how to use it and please put a link to the JASS Tool. |

GUI is just an interface for making (bad) JASS code. To access the JASS, just press 'convert GUI to jass' in the WE trigger section. |

It looks to me you are not quite ready to begin with something such as complicated as a bag, proof is your question itself, if you were ready to code it you would have started it either in GUI or Jass. I recommend you to get some practice and learn some basics before heading towards things like bags that are still very complicated to make correctly, you probably could code a bag right now but it would take you a lot of time and may not work correctly enough. There are premade bags everywhere, I would tell you the best you can do for your map is download some bag map with easy to implement instructions and use it. |

Jass Craft, search the tools section, and DONT USE GUI YOU WILL REGRET IT FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE i started with GUI and now its about 8X harder to learn JASS once you've learnt GUI, SO DONT USE IT AT ALL!!! |

Off topic? Actually it's not that hard to convert. Well... yes it is! But I'm finding it marginally easier having someone who is great with it to talk to over MSN. As long as you have the command list from JASSVault which I am yet to find, which contains ALL functions from the common.j and stuff and a person who's good with JASS to give you step-by-step tutorials, then you'll be fine. Sure it will take longer, but hey, it's better than nothing. My 'tutor' taught me how to use GetLocalPlayer to get rid of people I don't like. |

not everyone has a tutor and if you dont know GUI then you wont be tempted to go back to it |

I wouldn't say it's temptation, it's more of the lack of motivation to adapt. |
